Well just finished at the maths symposium which was pretty informative. For me the maths games that encourage mathematical thinking were valuable as they were 'do it now' type activities students could get on with first thing coming into the maths class or do at the end of a lesson if they finish early. For example: the loopy type game which had the whole class involved for it to work. Supporting each other in our learning for a common goal.
